Playstation 4, 5, and 6 already in the works

Um, What is Microsoft Windows? One big rootkit.
Perhaps. But then again it's a full operating system upon which nearly all software created today is based, constantly integrated into one or several networks. People understand, though may dislike, some proprietary technology here, and mostly know what they are getting when they install.

Sony, on the other hand, had a piece of software install onto the computer without the user's knowledge or permission upon inserting a music CD - an item one would not expect software to come from.

And you didn't answer my question. How is Sony installing rootkits onto user's computers without their permission or knowledge an example of this company being entirely dedicated to its consumers?

the status of your employment with sony or any of its divisions should not effect your ability to give an answer to the question asked ...

Need I say more?

How is Gears of War his favorite game when A)They show footage from a completely different game. B)He was only 2 minutes into the game... BBC Watchdog sucks. Its bias is so obvious and it sucks at hiding it.

lol the comments are always hilarious .. i had to buy multiple ps1's and two ps2's i nly ever owned one xbox though admittedly its now in the crapper .. if it were still my main console i would have to buy a new one

I dont understand the motives of banaman, he certainly looks like an idiot if hes trying to promote Sony over here coz only thing hes getting is more negative feelings against Sony.

The problem isn't necessarily Sony (it's a huge chunk, but the whole pie). Sony is an easy target because we have a rep on our boards and after all the negativity and "foot in mouth" commentary that the gaming divisions of Sony have given customers over the past two years has really peeved a lot of people. Sony got cocky and put profit and "vision" ahead of the consumer base and are now feeling the effects.

Consumers have become emboldened by the lack luster start of the PS3 and flops that SOE continues to gobble up in the MMO market continually showing their ineptness to the genre. Customers are retaliating through their wallets and anything else they can to get their points across e.g. blogs, youtube, etc. Consumers have more weapons at their disposal and are using it and it has had an effect. Sure Sony isn't taking a hit in the wallet, but what they aren't losing in money they are losing in image.

He's seeing the point from a marketing dood in a company. Not from the customer point of view. He knows all the services his company has to offer and he sees opportunity. However, he doesn't take into consideration that we all know how Sony treats it's customers. Like garbage, to keep it simple.

Sony's products have less quality and last less than ever before. I used to own a lot of Sony products. Now I only own the Playstations. Why? cause Sony sucks. and if a product gets damaged along the way, you better just replace it. Sony CSRs would just make the distrust and hate toward the company even greater. Oh yeah, replace it with another company's products. ^_^

Comcast is in Microsoft back pocket:

"Comcast bought 25% of Group W Cable in 1986, doubling their size. Two years later, they bought a 50% share in Storer Communications, Inc. They bought the American Cellular Network Corporation the same year before combining with Metrophone in 1990. Comcast became the third largest cable operator in 1994 following their purchase of Maclean-Hunter's American division. Comcast owned the majority of the electronic retailer QVC from 1995 to 2004 when its share was sold to Liberty Media. Following other acquisitions, Microsoft invested $1 billion in Comcast in 1997."

OOOOOooo ...ok. Silly me, anything negative against anything else is ok, but once it becomes negative against Sony it's a conspiracy. I guess Microsoft also owns EGM and Bill Gates was standing off camera with a gun to the guys head?
