I still don't understand people's reasoning by calling the PS3 a disaster. The PS3 is a few years ahead of it's time, and it is expected to stick around for at least 10 years before becoming outdated. That's not a disaster, that's securing yourself in the industry for the long term. So while in 3-5 years you'll need to fork over another $300 for a new Nintendo system, your PS3 will still be a top competitor in the industry. Yeah, disaster. Right. Just like Net Income determines how well a company performs (right Kotaku?). It's like releasing a flying car. Nobody is gonna buy it except very few people, and it will be overpriced, but it still will be around in 10 years when the competition catches up.
