Digital Camera's?
I need to get one today and I have no idea what to get..
price range is $400 to $700
any help would be great

It all depends on what you want to use it for. Kind of like saying you want to buy a car. If you plan on reproducing large photos like 5x7 and up the higher the pixel you want. Another thing is you want optical zoom being alot so you can use it like a real camera. Remember opticial not digital zoom.that was as confusioning as the last page rofl..

Zomg. Drache, if you.. uh.. you know, if any happen to fall off the back of the truck, lemme knowyeah, the first thing you need to decide is what is it for...
are you wanting to point and click with good quality, or you wanting something professional. SLR cameras are going to be better cameras, but you can still get a good camera without spending that much and you won't have to worry about changing lenses and whatnot.
I personally own a midrange non-slr camera that works fine for regular camera duties, but I am also a remote sensing specialist and have had work cameras worth anywhere from 6k to 80k.
