Who would be Solid Snake in a Movie?

An open ended poll, who do you think would make a good Solid Snake? Alot of the classic action heros are now washed up and old, so who would it be now? How bout if you could take an actor in his prime?

I think Kurt Russel in his prime would be good.

I've thought about this loads. Hard to come up with someone perfect. Bale would be the easy choice, but I don't think he comes off as snake to me really. Solid Snake is the ultimate, ultimate, ultimate badass.

Aaron Eckhart (Two-Face) could totally pull it off with died black hair.

there should be an MGs3 movie. was the coolest story of all the metal gear series ive played/seen so far.

Chuck Norris but there would need to be a rider in his contract requring him to chain smoke Marlboro reds.

No Van Wilder and no Transporter. Reynolds is a fun actor to watch but neither could properly play Snake.
