We all have different kinds of music we listen to, but i'm sure nobody has only a SINGLE music type they like, and nothing else. So, what are your favorite artists in each category you listen to?

Rap: Dr. Dre
Heavy Metal: Iron Maiden
Alternative: The Offspring
R&B: Sean Paul
International DJ: Vassilis Tsilichristos
Local DJ: Louie Loop
Electronca/Dance/Club: Darude
Greek Pop: Despina Vandi
Greek Rap: Goin' Through
New Age: Yanni
 
ahhhh i like so many bands in each genre of music i could never decide

but i despise rap and country (except for a few select songs and artists)

Country: Toby Keith, Trace Adkins
Pop: Pussy Cat dolls
R&B: BEP
Classical: Holst and Beethoven
Rock: Whitesnake and Guns N Roses
Folk: John Prine
Oldies: Elvis, Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, so many
Not Sure: James Blunt, Jewell, Norah Jones, I could go on forever.

Ok might I clarify. Iron Maiden is metal not heavy metal. As I lay dying is not Heavy Metal its Hardcore. On with my top picks.

Metal : Misfits, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, ZZ Top
Nu Metal : Pantera, Disturbed, Rammstein
Heavy Metal : Metallica (Pre Load Album), Slayer, Pantera, GWAR
Metalcore : Children of Bodom, Avenged Sevenfold (Unholy Confessions), Shadows Fall
Hardcore : Devil Driver
Alternative : Avenged Sevenfold (City of Evil), Bullets & Octane, The Offspring (Post Conspiracy of One album)
Rock : AC/DC , CKY
Punk : The Offspring (Pre Conspiracy of One album), Murder Dolls
Rap : Beastie Boys (and only a few select songs), Run DMC (Tricky), hate it otherwise
Country : Hate it
Dance/Techno : Da Rude





To clarify my putting Pantera twice, anyone who knows Pantera well knows that there were two very different versions of Pantera, the 80's Heavy Metal version and the Nu Metal redefining version in 90.
