So my quest for a new game

So, I'm on a quest for a new MMO because well

SWG is dead

WoW's fun for 30 mins

CoH/CoV is a decent past time

EvE Online I lost interest in the tutorial

Saga of Ryzom is just one big chat room

EQ2...yeah well

SO! I'm perusing and have come across some of these that look to be pretty interesting.

Hero's Journey

Age of Conan

The Chronicles of Spellborn

This reminds me of old school console or Kingdom Hearts if you will
Rose Online

So, those are a few that I have found. Rose Online doesn't really appeal to me, but figured it might interest someone.

SWG was like a wonderful marriage gone horribly wrong. i'm scarred now, and I think I'll stay away from them for a while.

As Shaggz points out City of Villains....where Dominatricies such as myself play. It is a lot of fun. Where else can you see villains like Fluffy jumping around the city and dead callers like Mortician' bringing forth destruction? Or Secret of Old bash things in? Or Windscape calling the ice storms to freeze our enemies and heal the wounded?

Mmmm....I really do have fun with that game.

no kidding. i was an MMO virgin till I got turned onto SWG. Damn you, NGE. Damn you.
 
I started in text based games before growing onto MMO's. I met my husband in a text based game. Wow...I miss that game.

I've been playing more EQ2, cause they are giving Christmas presents every 24 hours :P
Food to regenerate Health and power during battle
Stuff to decorate your house

A lot of goodies, the evil city doesn't look so evil with Christmas elves, candy canes, and presents all around the city. A Xmas tree with lights too. There is also a quest Xmas related, that will increase your completed quest count (like badges) and it gives you a neat santa hat.

I'll take some screenshots tonight and post them.

Sweet in COH we get x-mass gifts
you get a nice or naughty..

I got pawned buy a naughty... and now I am 1220 xp in debt.
I seem to get more naughtys in then nice
I want to get the fake barf and snowballs but have not get eather yet. I did get my x-mass hat and ladys say I am sexy now..

The question is who ripped off who?! Cause for doing all this stuff they did you need a couple of months of work.

Also they gave us some class especific armor, which looks pretty wicked. Althought, since only my Templar has done the quests, only she got the new armor. I'll have to wait till I get it with the others :mellow:
 
Oh yeah you can also get into snowball fights with other players or NPCs. The snowball buckets are at the gates of each town, and you thrown them with the same command that any other ranged weapon, but of course no damage, only your toon does an action each time it gets hit.

I was tossing snowballs to a guy that was standing outside the bank and he just fell on his knees, it was so funny.
