Again I'm not completely sure. I know he did get full schooling and is now an insurance guy (figures CT - insurance like 99% of my family is in insurance).

And if you get too personal I will say so.

What a wonderful topic Darein :)

1 - Who do you work for / what do you do / estimated yearly salary (unless you're nervous to talk about that, which I can understand)? I'm an independent contractor in the TV/Movie industry. I work as an Assistant Director (the person in charge of the movie set, sort of like a stage manager for a play), Production Manager (the person who is responsible for all on-set business matters like contracts, logistics, lunch, permits, budget... all that fun stuff), Line Producer (like a production manager, except more of a liason to the studio... a suboordinate "suit") or Director (my favorite job, though I dont get to do it as much as I like. It's very competitive). I make high 5 figures, and in a good year, 6 with crooked numbers, but that's rare. I have my own page on the IMDB, and am a member of the DGA and WGA

2 - Are you married and do you have kids? No and No. But I do hear the clock ticking (I am a 30-something).

3 - What other hobbies do you have other than computer activities? Writing. I am a very prolific writer and I do sometimes take writing jobs. I mostly write screenplays, and I do most of them for fun. For instance, I've written a Star Trek vs Star Wars script that some friends want to make into an actual movie, a James Bond vs. Batman script (I used to write for Batman the Animated Series), a Dirty Harry script that ends with the line "God, I've had enough of this shit," and one called "Bride of Godzilla" which opens with Steve Irwin doing his show from Monster Island, and contains a Kaiju sex scene. But what I love doing most are really messed up love stories. Fact, influencing fiction?

4 - How many people live in your area (again not exact numbers I'm not trying to make anyone uncomfortable)? Jeez, I live in LA. So what's that 6-10 million people?

5 - What are some of your goals in life? Why are these your goals? I want to be in a position where I can make any movie I want, when I want to do it. I've always valued my independence and want to make a separation from the studios here in Hollywood. Executives have too much control over the careers of others. I seek to free myself of their oversight.

6 - About how many friends do you have IRL? (if you have so many you can't count just say so) I have a lot of contacts here, but only a handful of people that I would consider real friends. There are a ton of people in LA, but it really is a lonely place.

7 - If you were to breakdown an average day of your life how would it look? Wake up. Check emails. Check harvies in SWG, maybe do some surveying. Get ready and go to where I need to be (the set, a meeting, my office. It changes almost daily but I usually have to be somewhere). Come home. If there is time, maybe see friends. Maybe play SWG. Maybe play CoH. Sleep. Then do it all again the next day, only different.

So yeah... That's me.
