I don't care what anyone says, i come from the most beautiful and kickass area of all of Greece (of course, places like Santorini are even more beautiful, but this place is what lives in my heart). I used to live with my grandparents in their village, but there are two key towns about 10 mins away from each other which are where I go. Both towns are of great historical significance to Greece. They are Pylos and Methoni (Pylos, being where King Nestor was from in Homer's The Illiad). Pylos is more of the commercial and nightlife town, while Methoni si more of the beautiful and fishing town. Anyway, we recently built a house in Methoni, so thats where we live. But nonetheless, those two towns are my heart and my life. When i die, i will be buried there. Here's just some photo galleries of what i consider my personal heaven, where the majority of my friends are, where my mom's side of the family is, and where i've had my most lifechanging experiences:

And the popular beach hotspot is in Finikounda (feeneeKOOduh), about 10 mins from Methoni. There's a few private beaches i've discovered that you can only get to by swimming. its badass :D

You know I have one of your pics as my desktop? People always stop and ask...what is that? I say...only the most beautiful place in the world.

That looks awesome, so beautiful there. One day i'd like to travel, if I can ever give up the PC for a week :P
 
lol, yeah, no internet in those areas. and if you do get it, its by 36.6kbps phone connection :P Gotta travel like 30 mins for an internet cafe :)

And tiv, yeah, that was my desktop for a good two years :D

god damn, i wanna go in august, but i also wanna get this marketing internship at Midway Games. And if i get it, i won't go, but if i don't get it i will. ARGH :(

Bleh, its been like almost two years since i was last there. I need to go back. I'm sitting here sending text messages with friends from greece, and they're making me promise to go there this summer :(

BTW, as i was going through the Pylos photos, i saw a kid that i know. Turns out his dad is the one that made those sites lol. His dad used to live in NYC until he moved back, and now resides in a small village about 15 minutes away. Hahaha, gonna send the URL to my friends so they can make fun of him and bust his balls :P
 
Never been there. It's on my list of places to go though.

One day I'll be rich enough to go anywhere I want.
