Isn't frustrating when it just dies. :(
Possibly no more battery juice, I haven't change it in about 2 years, probably is that. Well all in all is ok, cause I'm home. Called the MB guys and hope they have it ready by the end of the day. :mellow:

But it's still frustrating, working from home is such a drag. :huh:

Questions:

Does the car make noise when you turn the key?
Is there lights on when you open the door?
Does the car try to start but won't turn over?
If it is the battery have you shut lights/radio/heater/everything off before trying to start car?
Did it rain heavily wear your car was parked?
 
does it have gas?
you do know you have to put gas in it to make it go right j/k
does it make a clicking sound
does the radio still work when you turn the key

clicking sound is the starter

non radio is a dead bat.

just some simple trouble shooting tips

and sorry to hear the old buggy is DOA

And Artica - listen to Fluffy. And good luck. I just had my battery replaced so I know how it feels. Word of advice - if you have a car alarm I hope you have the car alarm doohickey to turn it off.

The alarm has it's own power source ;) Mercedez Benz people are smart, the car won't move but it can still scare bandits. LOL I don't get it. :mellow:

new battery, thats it. my mom has an E320, but a 2000 model. i used to have a 1987 190E 2.3 in fireengine red until it died in 2004. My car was a tank, and it was pimp. ah well, a few more years with this Civic and then i'll get a car i want

now how the heck can you be 100% sure all the way over there?

would the altinator be bad as well if that is out the bat will not charge...
