Moving to Kentucky!!!

Only thing that freaks me out is bugs in my house. For example, If I see an ant outside on the sidewalk, no problem...its when its in the house that my skin crawls. Might have to go crazy with the caulking gun and sealers when we get a house there lol.

Again, if you live near more "civilized" land then they aren't a huge problem, out in the horse lands however....and well, yeah, check your covers before going to sleep.

You should feel priviledged to have been part of such greatness or something lol

I imagine we will be living right in the city in Lexington. (In fact If there are less bugs, I will make sure of it!) Hubby will be doing alot of commuting to the "horse country" dealing with all the Equine Clinics and such, but I will happily stay with my concrete!

LOL I was looking through old screenies and I have one of the "first DOA guild meeting ever" LOL :D

Agree completely :) Im looking forward to Vanguard..not spacey, which I would prefer, but I imagine it will be simular in feel (although tkeelas roomies are beta testing it, saying its alot like EQ2, I dont really know what that means as I never played it.)

Woot 300 posts!!! grats me :)

I keep hearing about htat game... I think when I'm done wow I'll reclaim life back.

I did get away from wow for like 2 months though... lol

I got away from WOW and any game really for a year now :) Been great, but the baby is getting older and going to bed better, be nice to have something to play in the evening when the kids are in bed :) Especially if we are moving to a new country, dont know any body and hubby will be travelling alot (one of the main reasons for the move is the air travel will be much simpler, and cheaper.)

Yah travel is a bitch... I lived in Calgary pretty much during November of last year. Bleh.

But if you go bored you could always go spider hunting ;)

Gee thanks Ackis lol..I will make sure to carry a can of Raid everywhere I go, most women carry mace in their purses, I will carry Raid :P

forgive my ignorance, but i always thought raid stood for redundant array of independant disks.....

Its a bug spray :)

Forgot to mention if your hubby is traveling out to the sticks make sure you check him for ticks when he gets home and for chiggers.

Ticks can cause Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever which is nasty in and of itself (they suck blood from your body and from anything else they can........most are small little things but some are big fat juicy green ones). Chiggers are harmless except for they make you itch like crazy. They bore under your skin and cause little red bumps that itch. You can kill them with nail polish (burns a little when applied) and then they just disintigrate into your body.

Epise is running a documentary

I lived in Kentucky for four years myself, just not Lexington. Went there though. Lexington is cool, UK is a decent school to be around. Try to go to a basketball game or football game if you get a chance.

You won't run across any scorpions and more than likely will never see a brown recluse or a black widow (unless you buy/rent a really old house).

If you go in the woods ticks can be pretty bad, but getting rocky mountain spotted fever or lyme's disease is very uncommon. They are just annoying for the most part.

What will probably get you the most is mosquitoes, oh yeah, and chiggers :)
