Liquid Nitrogen only makes Thermite angry

The scary thing is, thermite is not hard to make.
That is if the anarchist's cookbook entry I read works.

Fire is nice.

Hopefully w/o getting myself into federal trouble:

Thermite is just 1 part Iron Oxide, 2 parts Aluminum powder. The Aluminum and Oxygen coupled with the heat causes the intense reaction, the iron only acts as a substance capable of sustaining the intense heat.

Thanks wikipedia: Fe2O3(s) + 2Al(s) → Al2O3(s) + 2Fe(s); ΔH = -851.5 kJ/mol

I really liked when they threw a tv / vcr wrapped in bubble wrap off the back of a moving lorry to prove what sort of wrapping protects well.

hilarious.

Saw that episode, funny stuff. Not very scientific at all, but funny.
