Well on rumor that my company was going to layoff my department.....IT HAS BEGUN! They just fired my supervisor and escorted her out of the building. Now I get to sit back and wait to see who is next!

Well, everyone was fired, but me. I'm beginning to wish I was fired because now I have to do everyones job.

lol........go ask tem for a payraise since you are having to do everyone else's jobs that they fired. I bet you get some extra vacation time, unpaid of course, but you will get it and te best part is you don't have to worry about doing everyone's job :D

Most companies these days escort people out when they are laid off. Security measures to ensure they don't do anything against the company.

To avoid Sabotage.

Oh they escorted everyone out.

I have had co-workers in my office all day sayin "get out while you can!". So, with that said, anyone know of a job where I can get paid a lot of money to sit around, drink beer and play video games?

i always imagined games magazine columnists had lives like that timi.....

i hear games testing sux0rz though because you have to do loads of really mundane things repeatedly to find bugs etc......

that would be fun though :D

unless you were reviewing games like barbies adventures

Okay, look at it this way. Think of how many games get released every year, then think of how many games are actually good...yeah, chances are you are testing Barbie's Pokemon adventure.

true but id still rather do that than sit in an office all day
[/b]

but testers do sit an office all day. Pressing the jump button to make sure Barbie jumps over Pikachu in the correct timing sequence.
