The early medieval and the viking era are very appealing to me. I love the crafting (making arrows, bows, clothes, armor etc) and going on events dressed in medieval clothes, living in medieval tents and so on. I'm a member of the medieval community here in my hometown.
I think it's the feeling of living close to nature, working with my hands and doing it together with friends ^_^
I know these times were rough as well, but I'd still pick it.
