Watch the show "To Catch a Thief", dude robs houses, and lots of them with a supposed guard dog at the homes...the dude just brings a little dog treat with him, and the dog acts like his best friend, it takes LOTS of training to make a dog truly a good guard dog.

The dog either follows him, or just bolts out the door as soon as it can.

I wasn't arguing FOR kitties (hell, I am prepping two to eat cause the fucking Pats are probably going to win). I was just saying training a guard dog is a lot harder than folks think.

Difference in dogs and cats:

You feed your dog, shelter your dog, love on your dog, play with your dog, etc. and the dog assumes... you must be god...

You feed your cat, shelter your cat, love on your cat, play with your cat, etc. and the cat assumes... it must be god...

Dogs ftw. And ask Gomi about thieves and guard dogs. ;)
