I really miss the old days of SWG

I can't say anything about Jedi pre-cu, or cu. I never got there. I respect the people that made it, and always will.

I didn't do pvp until late CU. Why? I felt bad about attacking other PC's. Now I kill my friends for fun, and they still know I love em.

I got this game because my husband was playing it, and I liked Star Wars. I keep playing it because of the people that I play with.

Like I said before Hammie, I hate what they did to the game I love. I hate the fact that SOE has no clue what Customer Service means, or what QA means.

But what else am I going to do?

I'm not speaking up for the NGE. I'm speaking up for the people that are left - the people who are still around and fight to make it better. SOE didn't listen. But I can hope they are learning. Hell they even took off the lootable item because people said they didn't want it. They're having people in LA go and give feedback and talking about it.

People like Furtchlos are trying to get SOE to have more ways of talking to us by asking us what we think. And not just people like me who forum stalk all day, but people who subscribe to the game via e-mail surveys.

The reason they can't just scrap it is the same reason they didn't just scrap the CU for the NGE. If you look at the backbone there are parts of it still there. They won't just scrap it because they also have been here for 2.6 years. A lot of them have been through the same things we have - as players, as managers, as a community.

Like I said Ham. I hate it. I hate it I hate it I hate it.

But it's better than my other choices, and my family and a lot of my friends are there.
 
I've come close to finding that community, but it was in a guild, not a server. WH was special... I popped my MMORPG cherry on it. :D

If you're not standing up for the game then why are you speaking up to make it better? SOE didn't listen, thats all you needed to say. First time they did it, everyone got pissed, then they started to come back, second time they did it with no warning and pissed everyone off and they had mass cancellations. I'm just waiting for them to do it again, so you can join my side of the argument.

I have no idea what will happen when they do it again. It depends on what else is out there. Remember, with you it's just one person. With me, it's a family thing. We play as a family. It'd be strange to have just one of us playing or not.

It wasn't just me, I had 5 of my best friends in RL stop playing the game after the CU. People I hang out with on a weekly basis, people I've known since grade school. So for me it wasn't a hit to myself, we all took a shot when SOE killed our game. I still talk to my friends I've made ingame as well.

Your quality of assurance is about as important to SOE as the kid who's got mommy's credit card waiting to take your spot in the community.
