I've never seen the first one, since i'm really not into vampire/warewolf movies, but my friend dragged me to this one. It was easy to follow without having seen the first one. And Kate Beckinsale is so fucking hot. The scene of her getting boned was worth my $5. Have my babies Kate!

i was a big fan of the first one and have been pretty excited to see the sequal.
What impressed me about hte movie (at least the original) was all werewolves and vampire costumes were actual costumes instead of computer graphics

I just saw the first one a couple weeks ago, it was very well done imo

Well, from a review I read, either the reviewer had NO idea what he was talking about... as he made references to things that supposedly happened in the first movie(and never did). I loved hte first one, and really am anticipating the 2nd, but that review worries me a bit because if the reviewer was accurate(although that is doutfull) then i worry about the movie.

It flows nicely from the first one Rehhtahn. The effects are beautiful and scary. The story is nice. (Only one gap I could find) It also ties off a lot of questions I had at the end of the first one. If you loved the first one, I'm fairly sure you will at least like the second, if not loved it as I did.

cool, we'll be waiting for the dvd I guess, because it is almost impossible to find an english speaking theatre around here. No matter I don't mind waiting

When I was in Europe, I went to see movies that had subtitles in their languages. That way I could hear the english. ;) Though, I think in Suisse I saw something in French.
