There's not a section on this site for this game but I know it has a loyal following. It is also ranked high according to MMORPG.com. Does or has anyone played this game and what is it like?

this game isn't bad at all but I don't like how people who go straight to pvp have the same weapons and such as you who worked to get your good items and rares, im hoping maybe guild wars 2 will be good but you never know

How is this done? Do you play GW, GW Factions, or GW Nightfall? Sorry for the questions, I am just thinking about giving it a try ^_^

I haven't played in a while, but I have all 3. When you create a character you have the option to create a RP or PvP(Only) character. If you create a PvP character you start the game at lvl 20 with a handfull of skills and some equipment. There are skills and items that are unavailable unless you unlock them though. You can unlock them by spending points you earn through PvP or playing the RP side and finding/earning them. If you choose to create a RP player, you can take that player and PvP with them.

It is more like a single player game, that you have the opportunity (and in some instances need) to play with other players.

Problem is, with high level quests/areas you usually need real people. This can cause an hour of sitting there looking for a group.

And like they said PvP is all instanced, and everyone is pretty much the same.

Personally, I didn't like it.
