Grrr, almost 2 hours of virus scanning...

a little over 120k files scanned. And all the porn i cleared from my comp onto two DVDs yesterday :P

Pfft, amatuer...

Backing up onto DVDs would get too expensive. That's why I just use extra internal HDs and disconnect them when not in use.

Try backing up 200GB on DVDs...
 
DVDs are as cheap as blank CDs now a days. You can get a 1000 pack of DVD-R 8X as cheap as $235
 
1000 DVD-Rs, at about 4.3GB a pop, is about 4300 GB of storage, for $235. You'll be lucky to get a 500GB or 1TB hard drive for that much :P

so yeah, its cheaper than buying hard drives to fill up the same amount
