"The president, the leader Saddam Hussein is a martyr and God will put him along with other martyrs. Do not be sad nor complain because he has died the death of a holy warrior," said Sheik Yahya al-Attawi, a cleric at the Saddam Big Mosque.

I'm sorta releived that Saddam is dead, but why call him a martyr? He hasn't done anything good for humanity, and if he has it's been erased by all of his killing. And IMO, a "holy warrior" would have died fighting, not being caught in a hole.

Sadam said if he died, he wanted to be known as a martyr. *shrug* any of them that die at our hands is thought to be a martyr in their eyes - especially if they're in high positions.

Personally, I didn't want him killed. I find it funny how modern technology was not present at the execution, since only a "grainy video" of body said to be Saddam's is identified in a shroud.
