Now, it's too late to do much except vote in the final few rounds. I've been voting since the beginning. The reason I'm bringing this up now is cause of the massive amount of butthurt that's happening with Bub & Bob knocking out some big-time names. It all started when B&B knocked out Master Chief in Round 1 by a landslide. OMG were those Halo fanboys PISSED! Originally it was just to knock out Master Chief cause he doesn't deserve to be in the contest, but once that came true, people were like, "oh what the hell, let's see how far we can get B&B."

Then Bub & Bob beat Sonic the Hedgehog. OMFG the flames and butthurt went through the roof! And now B&B are on the verge of knocking out Samus Aran (AKA Metroid) to make it to the Elite Eight. So much hilarity is ensuing!

The Round 3 vote is pretty much done and B&B have sealed their win. Round 4 will feature Bub & Bob vs Mega Man. I urge you all to vote for B&B when Round 4 begins in a few days. Try to get B&B all the way! Piss off the world and laugh in its face! Do it! DO IT NAO!

How the heck did Laura Croft beat out Kyle Kattarn. Just...wow.
For the first couple of rounds it comes down to a popularity contest. Kyle Katarn never had a fanbase outside the Star Wars gaming community, which TBH wasn't that big in the early 2000s, let alone in the mid 1990s. Lara Croft is a recognized figure among every single gaming group as well as non-gamers due to her movies and press coverage (was in Time magazine for a multipage special on female heroes one year).

booo, Gamespot admins reversed the votes this afternoon. they said that the vote was "rigged" but it's interesting how the final numbers are just last night's numbers but in reverse.....
