One of the SSDs was hidden on Corusant (sp?) and took off from there.

End of EP2 you see a bunch of ships taking off from the planet (earlier versions of the star destroyers).

Those were Acclamator class Frigates. Their internal design was much different than a ISD not to mention that they are a lot smaller than a ISD. As far as I know, the Venator class ships didn't have landing gear like the Acclamator but it used an air strip to take off.

The SSD Lusankya, sister ship to the Executor, was the ship hidden on coruscant so that the Imperial Oversight Committee would not know about it. It was also the 2nd SSD to be constructed.

Dunno how it was possible but the Empire BURRIED the SSD Lusankya in Coruscant and built a city on top of it.. Kinda hard to keep a secret that big you'd think.
