Flights to space....

i currently have enough total savings to amount for about HALF of the refundable deposit :P

meaning, in two years i just might have enough for the deposit, and then just pay the rest off via a loan :D
 
I don't know, I couldn't find how much it said it would cost.

If I could afford it though, yeah I'd go. But if I had to spend my whole retirement on it (that is when I've actually saved something for retirement) then no.

Actually, I've been looking into this kind of thing, and I prefer this one:

I've been on these guys mailing list for about 10 years now, back when this program was just an idea.
The lengths to which it has developped is incredible.

I prefer these guys because they offer the option of actually doing orbital flights, not just sub-orbital like the Virgin template.

I really think I'm going to do this one at some point, the money isn't even an issue (for the sub-orbital at least, the orbital is a pipe drwam), I mean this is an opportunity for a once in a lifetime experience, how could you NOT do it?
 
Last I heard , Space Adventures are gonna have their space port in the UAE , whilst Virgin Galactic are gonna be based out of New Mexico. This might make a difference to who chooses what..lol...given the current climate :)
