Yes it does. You need to know general theory behind both - and need to know how to look up syntaxx for both. And Generally after working with both after awhile, you start to think in both and dream in both. ;)

I do not work with programming manguages per se I am a system administrator so my knowledge lies in Windows Operating environments including advanced architecture and database management. They really don't require a language as you would think programming language but there are many commands and fuctions that are used at a command line level (I.e. dos prompt)

believe it or not most of the windows clicking can be avoided and done via a dos prompt. Saves a lot of tine and click finger...though i am starting to get that in NGE now :angry:
