case in point - torrents are crap.

Newsgroups has always been where it is at.

I put in my time endlessly downloading headers. Then, I found a web service that indexes usenet for fast searching :)

Using anything else is short-changing yourself.

Curse, that usually happens when it doesn't find the last pieces of the torrent, only thing you can do is wait. Leave there when you are not using the computer, it will finish eventually.
