Well the first season sucked balls the 2nd one was much more mature and took a lot of thought. I don't understand most of it but it's certainly making me put things into perspective.
There was an anime that was on Adult Swim like 3 summers ago, maybe 2. It was about some guy that got cryogenicly frozen, wakes up, and finds a world being attacked by huge bug monsters. It was pretty interesting, but only on for about a few days. Can't remember the name now though for the life of me. Other than that Adult swim has never had many anime's that interested me.

Like Gunslinger Girl, it has no beginning and no end. I hate those kinds of anime. They are suppose to leave ya with a message, but all you get is a cliffhanger ending and lots of questions. In other words you make out your own ending.

He means in the animation. There is an incident 40 years in the past, but they never say what happened. All the events that happen in the present are repercursions of that incident 40 years ago, BUT, they never say what happened 40 years ago, so you end up with BIG questions at the end of it.
