no dis to jimi, because he is really great, but i think he is really overrated and i think a lot of people think he is the greatest just because they have heard others say the same.
 
Other than hendrix most performers have taken their inspiration from Old Slow Hand. But I have always enjoyed clapton and grew up on his music. No flame at all to the others in this list I just prefer Clapton is all.

Had to go with Slash....I could care less whether he actually is the greatest of all time or not, since G'n'R is my favorite band of all time, I really can't be impartial about this at all.

I've been playing for 10 years, Hendrix is fucking great, but yeah I have to agree with this comment. What I cannot believe though is that the person who created this poll didn't even put up SRV. He is my favorite because of the feeling he has in every single song he plays.

Second off, come on...that list sucks. (I do like Hendrix tho)

I do like Yngwie, but I think Vai, Satriani, or possibly Petrucci is the best.

I take a vote of no confidence in this pole :0

Ill say Vai for the #1 spot, only cause Ive met him <3
 
I didn't vote because I think they are all great in their own aspects but all had a very different way and style of playing.

Though you have to give Hendrix props, I mean c'mon, doing the National Anthem on acid with the strings inverted... I'd have to say that pretty impressive.

I have Ynwie and Petrucci. <3 (DvD Style)

Oh, and mad props to Tom Morello. He cant play with the big boys, but he can play.
