Browder is far better actor than anyone else on that horrific show. Not to mention if the Farscape actors were so bad why did they bring not one but two (Claudia Black) of them over to try to save that show?
 
And he's married to that hot mamma from Andromeda too! :blush: I've forgot her name right now, plays Romy.
I've only recently watched Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars. Glad they got a chance to end it right. B)

We only got Atlantis on Five here last autumn and ended on S1. Will be Summer at least b4 it carries on I bet. I could d/l it but I have so much more to do anyway.
I like knowing that if I ever miss an episode now I can go and D/L it to catch up. B)

America's Funniest Home Videos has been around 16 years and you can't tell me that is not absolute crap? Or how bout Friends?

Length of show != quality, dammit. Only reason SG1 is still around and Farscape went bye bye is money. Sci-Fi channel only pulls in a certain amount of views no matter how good the show is. Luckily for SG1, it is cheaply enough run that it does well ratings/cost wise no matter how bad the episodes are....and some of them are horrific.

Look at sci-fi's homemade movies, they are always going for cheap as possible stuff because they know no matter how bad it is they will get a certain amount of people watching it. It is their business philospohy.

Tell it to Showtime, which was responsible for the first four seasons of SG-1. Higher budget, higher production values, a standard to maintain. Okayokay, yeah, there's Jonas Quinn. Shit happens. Season two of TNG? There's still some good episodes in there, even without a key member of the cast.

I agree, SciFi's in-house movies all fucking suck. Without fail. Even the ones that *know* they fucking suck for a joke (the Bruce Campbell ones come to mind). I think you'll be hard pressed to find any of them with ratings above 1.0. Its probably Universal's attempt at saving themselves some risk. I mean, look at shit like the Tremors series, or Bats, or any number of other crap SciFi movies that made it to the big screen. I'm sure some execs at Universal are saying to themselves "let these crappy scifi directors go play in the cable sandbox for a while, keep 'em out of our hair..." :P
