any stargate fans?

I'm all for seeing the SGC opened up for the rest of us to play in. But that font is painful.. jesus. Here's hoping their design doesn't continue to stumble like that :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought they have been working on this for a while?

The one they had been working on finally got canned... as MGM was still reeling from getting JoWooD's panties in a bunch (the previous distributor) while the Australian developers searched for a new distribution deal. MGM dragged its feet (deliberately, some might say) on approving said deal, and the Aussies ran out of money to keep the thing afloat.

So this is a brand new shot at it then? New developers, new publishers and what not?

The previous game was a FPS and looked really good. But that went belly up rather like the old Babylon 5 game that was in production. :rolleyes:

This is an online MMO like SWG. It's a good idea but I wonder how well it could work? Unless some players can play the Jaffa cakes or something? :P
 
woah a stargate mmo? thats news to me. Anyway that would be friggen weird what would the classes be like. /wonder

Yeah on the scroll left side.
I get that on some pages. Just have to turn up the text size in explorer.

There's some concept art there. I can't say the list of titles they have worked on really give me huge confidence. :mellow:

That was the film yes. The TV show was based of that.
It has MacGuyver (?) as the guy Kurt Russell played in it.
I have the dvd with the box that folds out into a pyramid shape. B)

Sorry there are no Kittys in the show. :P

As SOE are "experts" in MMO they asked for their help.

P.S. Actually I am not a fan of Stargate (the TV show), just an old Farscape fan.

No he doesn't. :) His part is played by another guy. Who does a very good interpretation of James Spader though.
