Bored to death... maybe...
Anyone else keeping up with this?

I just finished watching the new episode this week.

Spoilers: (Highlight to read)

What do you guys think about the new nomadic space travelers? I wonder how Ronon got one of their guns. It sucks that Doctor Weir was taken by the replicators, though I'm looking forward to seeing Carter more in Atlantis. Even though she is a technological expert it seems she has Zilenka and Mckay do most of the work.
 
I watched the movie, and I liked it. I watched the first episode of Star Gate and I liked it. Then it failed talking to me after that...
 
I loved SG-1. Atlantis .... not so much. Yeah, I'm trying to keep up with it but man, its difficult.
 
it's ok tv series, I still watch it, but I have to admit, it's not quiet the same as the original SG series. SG 1 was just such a good team, to split them up now meh.
 
I enjoy it more than the last season of SG-1 lately.
The Ori story is boring me to death because they aren't even in it much!

This week was an improvement. Jill Wagner was in the Blade tv and she's pretty foxy in that. :drool:

I don't even know why they put Carter in it so far! She's hardly there. :rolleyes: I think when she's done with the SG-1 movies then she will appear more.

So far though the 1st 2 eps of Season 4 were good but as suspected they blew a lot of budget and its been quieter since.

In Episode 3 you can easily tell at some places that the actress who plays Teyla is pregnant. They didn't cover a few shots well.

There's rumours of a new movie coming, Kurt Russell style.
All in all I'm glad we still have a Stargate show to watch. :cool:
 
i don't mind it, but it will never replace some of the earlier seasons of sg1 which were just immense. i always really hated it though when they were using replicator storyline way too much when they should have just killed them off.

the last couple of seasons of sg1 were simply atrocious for the most part but not just because of RDA leaving the main cast - a lot of the writing and stories were piss poor, especially the ori stuff

im starting to warm to atlantis more though (especially as there seems to be a new hottie each week :D) and i think there is a lot of scope for improvements. i don't think the tayla or ronan characters have been developed at all enough tbh and they just seem a bit superficial to me.
