Question on the Star Wars Books

Sheeptastic!
As many of you may know, I'm really into reading. I've always wanted to read the SW books, but honestly I don't know where to start.

Any suggestions?

best way is to go in chronological order. I would just go buy random books way back when i read them. Personally, i never read anything before ANH. My favorite book was Shadows of the Empire. You can find a chronological order of books here:

I kinda agree with this chronological thing and to add the Heir to the Empire series is very good. ( anything Zahn)

Shadows of the Empire would be a read at some point.
It's set between ESB and ROTJ, it's sort of part of the movie canon and not a bad read.

Then I would read the Heir to the Empire trilogy series by Timothy Zahn.
They set out some changes and are really good. After that maybe follow the book timeline.
