Marvin Lewis

If the Bengals don't make it far into the playoffs in 2007, is he gone?

After the lack of discipline shown by the Bengals on the field and off the field, I am shocked he isn't gone already.

It depends on the owner really. Far too many times it seems like owners don't tolerate teams having bad years and then blame the coaches.

Just look at where the Bengals were before Marvin Lewis came around and you'll see he's the right man for the job. Just have to see if the owner will allow Lewis to work through the problems or try to replace him.

I know this is old, but Im bored. Marvin Lewis is going no where. Ever. He changed the Bengals back into a winning team, they just had a bad year and some bad luck. Marvin also changed the culture in Cincy almost single-handedly, everyone doesn't feel like the bengals are just some blemish on the city anymore. We had too many non-coaching things this year that were detrimental to the team. Our center went out for the year, our best DT went out forever (probably), and you must have seen what happened to our QB at the end of year before last -- most people don't come back from that. Let us get our Defense together and O-line used to playing together (12 different alignments last year?) and we will clinch the division sooo fast. (No idea what'll happen in the playoffs, look at the chargers)
