Is it just me?

Not sure if that my priorities have changed, getting older, or just lack of options, but it seems as if there are no games out there that have come out recently or within the last year or so that really made me want to play it or knock my sox off.

A couple of years ago, I would be buying games like crack, but now I look at games on EB and various review sites and think, "eh same concept different game." Theres no originality anymore. Games have evolved into clonning one another.

About the only games I play anymore are FPS (which I originally hated), but playing online with your friends and being able to play a few short games is a lot better to me then the mind numbing treadmill most games make you jump on.

i've got that feeling too.

All i can play is day of defeat or battlefront 2.

Agree with some of it. I haven't found anything good after the fall of swg. Every other online game is mostly the same thing.

As for other games, in my PS2, I still play RPGs. Playing Suikoden Tactics at the moment.

if you like fps id highly recommend F.E.A.R. its scary as shit and has a few interesting twists about it as well ..the music is amazing at far as creating atmosphere and the opposing a.i. is really well done too

heh one of the coolest things ive ever seen in a game was in f.e.a.r. .. i got jumped by a squad and they tried to flank me but i was able to get two of them down before they could get position ..then i guess one got itchy trigger finger syndrome and tried to jump a railing to get to me .. i was able to put a few rounds into him and as he went down his weapon continued to fire and he took out a few of his teammates ( all of this in slow motion as fear has a matrix like slow mo special ability) man i was like ok this game is gonna own lol

also as i said its is without a doubt the scariest game ive ever played ( especially if you actually believe in ghosts and crap)

also finally theres a bit of " ok whos really good and bad and do i know everything" kinda going on in the game


vey very well done ithink like 92% score from pc gamer

only draw back multiplayer is actually not very fun ..obviously you cant use the slo mo with rl competition and the maps are a little weak ...also its for newer high end systems
