The very fact that you c.ockbites are deleting it shows you have something to hide. I wish to issue a hearty f.uck you to you SOE, especially since Tiggs could now loose her house thanks to your never ending pursuit of profit.

I guess this was taken during peak hours on a Friday...

Total it's just over 10k accounts logged in at the busiest time of the week...

Friday night is not the busiest time of the week. Sundays usually seemed to be the busiest to me. Fridays were always empty. I guess some people have what is often referred to as, "a life", though I personally have no idea wtf they're talking about.

Though I'd love to know how they got these numbers.

There's a program called Ethereal... I'm not much of a coder/hacker kind of person, so I don't know how to use it.

The guy that posted these numbers also posted a guide on how to get the numbers yourself from the program.

I'm guessing his posts got deleted.

read again...
it says Europe-Farstar, which means, it's a European server, which to American primetime (whenever that is, I think evenings or nights or whatsoever) is late nites or mornings for us in Europe, so naturally there aren't that many then...

Even Chimaera and Infinity have less people on to that time than WH

The key part is the IP addresses that he supplied. Now the thing is how can we be sure that those IP addresses are the ones for the actual server. Even with Ethereal you are probably not going to be able to discern what the "real" IP address is for the actual servers due to being behind routers, switches, and firewalls. So, these numbers might be a false representation.

As in, these numbers might only be for the traffic traveling to that one IP address, where as (depending on what part of the country you are logging in from) you might access, say Wanderhome, from a slightly different address, thus making these numbers just a 'part' of the total traffic.

Although Ethereal is an amazing tool, it still can't "see through" properly configured routers/firewalls. So, in summary, I don't buy these numbers at all.
