thats why we havent yet, we are worried that she is just a little too young and will get like an ear infection. but i dont think its that bad if you take the kid to a safe place, not like a grungy tattoo shop (no offense to anyone who works in a grungy tattoo shop.)

I meant more from a development/growth standpoint is it healthy? Will the weight fuck up the kids ear development? Kids are pretty mallable at that age, not sure what would happen if that thing caught on anything (like clothing) when you held her or moved her.

you have a good point never looked at it from that way. like would the weight weigh down the earlobe or something (sounds funny but) and id think a hoop would be a little better for not catching on clothes then a stud, but could catch easier when taking the clothes off

Not to mention the potential for the baby to actually rip it out, cause like my baby niece, she doesn't have much control over her arms except she can put them where she wants to sometimes. If she snagged that earring she would rip it out when she squirmed around.

I also feel that a person should be the only one to deside if they want a piersing, and well...a baby doesn't have much say in that.

It's a pre-req for being in NeXuS.

not mention it? :P
[/b]
But I'm like excited and that's the only thing i know about her. My sister lives in Pensylvania, I see her once a year. If I would have met her, I'm sure I'll be telling about any other characteristic. For now, I just know is white, her age, and the color of her eyes is brown :) Is like looking at a schematic and reading the features. :P

I think they have been for 6 or so months. They got the adoption, so now I can be excited and tell everyone :D

But if you put a small earing? My friend pierced her daughter ears and put small earings, they are barely noticeable, it just give a bright sparkle. :)
I'll ask her, to see at what age they do the piercing.
