They [illegal immigrants] have the right, just like anyone else, to break a law. I can't find anything wrong with letting fellow humans into the country I reside in just because they need legal documentation. If they aren't leeching or stealing but working, then there's nothing wrong.
I say we kick 10 PETA members out of the US for every illegal immigrant that comes in.

One solution is we have a Federal minimum wage in America... that wage should be reserved for American Citizens. American employers should be limited to only 1 illegal employee per 5 American citizens (or varie the ratio on the size of the business). Then, find out what the average salary in the illegals home country is and multiply it by 2 and that will set the min. wage for illegal aliens. True, we all are immigrants... BUT, my family of European Ancestory came to America LEGALLY. They too saw that America was the Land of Opportunity and chose to take the appropriate route to get here and to become citizens. Yes, The Land of Opportunity it is... but some choose not to read the fine print... It gives one the Opportunity to Achieve success, not to STEAL it. When an illegal comes to this county, I have to spend my HARD earned money for school, health care, welfare, and give other misc. freebies for an illegal.. It is disheartening to me. There is nothing wrong when someone wants to come to this country to better themselves, but to make a BS excuse to Steal from those who work and slave everyday to support themselves and to others to support their families that are Legal American Citizens??? Let me think... As long as the "Bleeding Hearts" of America are foolish enough to allow an illegal to pick my pocket... These unfortunate events will continue to happen.

That is completely ridicuous to me. Yes they are breaking the law by crossing illegally. But they are driven by survival and the the desire to LIVE THE AMERICAN DREAM. they want oppurtunity. If you had any clue as to how the living conditions are for these people you would maybe be less inclined to hate them. When my family comes here they say to thier kids, "speak english, you are living in america...be good, you are living in america..." Have you ever drove over the speed limit? Ran a stop sign? Downloaded music or movies? Fudged a few numbers on an income tax report? Stole cable? Walked into a movie without paying? Jaywalked? Did certain sexual acts in certain states? Egged cars and houses as a youth? Got paid under the table without reporting that as earnings? Everyone has done at least one of those. and they are all against the law. So dont pretend you are better than immigrants because what they do gets more press coverage than the law you chose to break. The immigration laws are there for a reason, but I personally think they need revamping to allow HONEST hardworking peoples a chance to have the american dream for thier own as well. and that includes letting them in, geting them working and contributing to the nation and MAKING THEM A CITIZEN. Thats how it used to be. I wonder how your family got here in the first place.
Aside from the birth of his children, the proudest day in my fathers life was the day he was sworn in as a real citizen on the united states. he cried that day.
