For those of you who download Music

Isn't this an older article? I could've sworn I read this already.
Still good information, I move all downloaded music to a different unshared folder when its finished downloading, been doing it since the RIAA first started going after people.

Yep yep do the same. Since Napster :P

I've no idea if it is old or not. I use an add-on called stumble in Mozilla. So when I see something interesting, I drop it off here. I know we have a lot of downloaders so /shrug

I never touched Napster, no internet at that time. I did use Kazaa until they got horrible with the add-ons/spyware crap. Now its Limewire all the way, and occasionally e-mule.

Thanks for the heads up though, not everyone may have seen this.

Kaaza sucked so bad since I started using it all songs were either named wrong or mp2 files, or plain bad recorded. Then I got the recommendation of e-mule, and had no problem since then.

Yeah I usually download overnight. Since is cable is connected 24/7.

torrents ftw
no central server, no registration, no querying users, file accountability, better speeds etc
and I've been p2ping for almost 10 years (or whenever napster first appeared)

torrent=owned, i use it, i love it =D, and as far as sharing music..... say they catch a handful...... you still got the whole word left to go..... or at least everyone from the age of 11-65

For me, torrents is even slower than e-mule. I'm no where near that patient, if I was, I'd've stuck with dial-up.
