I'm so bored I don't know what to do with myself. I can't play WoW either because I just played my first month of it and it's boring already. I searched all over the web to find any game that is possibly better than those I already own / have played, yet all inqueries turned up negative.

Over Christmas I even played enough Counterstrike to kill any lesser man.

For all that is sacred, somebody help me out here. I don't want to go paying 50 bucks for a game again so soon, but 20 bucks would probably be worth my sanity. Recommendations people, please!

I'm serious, I need something quick or I might revert back to hell (SWG).
 
I feel your pain. I have been playing WOW and tried COH. These games have some good qualities but they loose their luster pretty fast. Games on the herizon are DnL and Pirates of the burning sea. Just have to wait a little while before their release. Also download the Conan trailer.
 
Seriously, take the $20 go to EB or Gamestop and look through the old software bin sometimes you find a gem that you havn't played in ages for a steal :) I do that every so often as i do spend a good amount of time in malls :D Last game i picked up was Good vs. Evil for $21.00 a great rpg type game that was fantastic graphically and haad a good story line. It was one of those games that never hit big but has more of n underground following.

ANyway check out the bins you never know
 
I feel ya man im waiting on Darkfall, The chronicles of Spellborn and age of conan. Have you tried Eve or Saga of Ryzom? They both have free trials if you wanna DL and give em a shot look the trials up on mmorpg.com.
 
We don't have an EB games or Gamespot here. In fact, even KB toys closed up and left us. We do have a Walmart though and I've already been through their bin and found nothing intresting. Also looked at their new games and nothing worth buying IMO.

you should look into Eve Online. I just downloaded the trial, and i'm hooked. it's got a lot of the aspects that i was looking for in a new game, not to mention that its a very interesting story to begin with. you might dig it, who knows?

Or, you could always come back to SWG and try the roleplay aspect of it- feel free to stop by www.the-swg-realm.com and see if theres something we have there that might catch your interest. We're trying to make SWG a fun game again. If not though, seriously, try Eve.
 
I tried Eve for a month (I think I bought it) shortly before the Exodus expansion. It seemed too slow of gameplay and took forever to travel anywhere so I got tired of it pretty quick. I also didn't find much help to get started collecting those billboard bounties :(

I might try the trial again to see if Exodus did anything spectacular but from first impressions it wasn't too great and I don't think I've got my account info. written down anywhere since I thought it sucked TBH.
