But, Wouldn't everyone who knows Marketing now the Life Cycle of the Wii is a lot shorter than the PS3 of Xbox 360.
[/b]

According to the porn industry the life cycle of the Blue-Ray is a lot shorter than you think.

But wouldn't they also tell you that Nintendo is making profit on each unit, whereas Sony and Microsoft rely entirely on software licensing and sales to make money? Oh my, over the same time period, 360 software sales appear to have whooped the PS3's ass.

Eh, Over a month, Wait till MGS, MK Series, PE, GTA4, UL, AC, don't make me laugh.

Trust I've got a Wii, and I've assesed its market strength.

Oh, so the hardware sales over that period matter, but the software sales don't.

Not really, but the franchises will help on the sale of the hardware. The wicked games will sell the console basically. ^_^

Edit: woops :p

Er, great, I was just pointing out that Banana is biased (in case nobody knew that). All three consoles have big franchises. Some of the ones that used to be Sony exclusives are developing for the 360 now. Anyway, time will tell. Two years from now we may know who won the war for this gen.

Its alot easier to calculate sales of hardware than software, but why don't we put component and peripheral sales into the equation to, lol.

It would be better if the 360, and the PS3 had been launch at the same time. B)

I agree, a true head-to-head would have given us a better idea. Like, say Wii vs. PS3.

Yes, but we are all aware Sony's inability to launch anything on-time.

Could say the same for all companies,

Microsft,
Sony,

A like, the 360 was delayed twice if you remember.
