Dogs (pets for that matter) are a definitive part of a family. Some people just dont get it when someone gets upset over losing a pet. It's like losing a member of your family.

I'm sorry for your loss. Sounds like he/she had a full life and im sure he/she was loved a ton.
 
fuck that is sucky. always a really, really shitty day when it inevitably comes and i hope you are feeling better soon
 
I am so so sorry, thats a good age for a dog, we all wish they could live forever...but they never leave your side..../hug
