I'm quite confident the Japanese would have thought of such a thing. They tend to be quite thorough. They might not have included the capability in the R&D prototype, however, for various reasons.

On a serious note, I was fooled that it wasn't a real chick....right until the thing started moving. Great, you got facial expressions, and hand movements, but if anyone is truly tricked into thinking this is a real chick after seeing it move has not been around a lot of girls.

Trying to replicate the hundreds of balancing muscles that help the human body move smoothly and gracefully is something they aren't even close to yet. Even the amazing walking/runnign Asimo still is incredibly herky-jerky. When they start replicating that sort of musclar control is when I will really be impressed.
